The innovative Impulse DX1400R three-arm manipulator in action

The company "Impulse Boom Systems" created a unique three-knee manipulator with a reach of 17 meters for a large mining and processing plant.

The Impulse Boom Systems team developed and successfully implemented a unique three-arm Impulse DX1400R manipulator with a three-ton hydraulic hammer for the continuous-flow technology (CFT) at a large mining and processing plant. The plant required efficient equipment for breaking up oversized ore in a large receiving bin equipped with a T-shaped breaker beam. Our engineering team began developing this solution in 2021, winning a tender where participated some well-known Western companies.

The Impulse DX1400R is a fundamentally new engineering solution with a three-section design that provides a reach of up to 17 meters with a total weight of 29.8 tons. Our company has created not just equipment, but a comprehensive solution, perfectly tailored to the specific needs of the mining and processing plant. The crusher is controlled by radio (with an additional manual emergency control option), and for operator’s convenience, we have developed an automatic parking and positioning system, as well as a collision and impact protection system.

Following installation of the equipment at the customer's site, our service engineers conducted comprehensive training for the mining and processing plant's personnel.

Today, the manipulator is operating in normal mode, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the entire central control center complex.
