Impulse VP500 vibratory pile driver sees the light

Technopark Impulse has completed a series of tests of the Impulse VP500 vibratory pile driver in the classic configuration.

Before launching into mass production, each new machinery model developed by Technopark Impulse undergoes a whole range of tests, both bench and full-scale tests. During testing, experts check all the key components and parts of the equipment, such as shock absorption system, hydraulic drive and hydraulic automation elements, record the actual parameters, determine the service life of the model and its compliance with the designed values.

Besides, they verify convenience of operation and issue recommendations for periodic maintenance. The whole range of actions helps to avoid most of the troubles appearing at the initial stage of the new designs.

What are the benefits of Impulse VP500 vibratory pile driver?

This model has the highest driving capacity among all the hydraulic vibratory pile drivers that we manufacture and which can be mounted on an excavator. Therefore, Impulse VP500 enables solving a wider range of tasks:

  • drive/extract pile elements in harder soil conditions;
  • drive/extract heavier pile elements.
  • At the same time, with its optimized design, this model can be used with excavators with a curb weight of up to 25 tons.

Specifications of the model:

  • Static torque of misbalance weight, kgf*m: 8
  • Vibration frequency, min⁻¹: 2700
  • Driving force, kN: 580

Vibratory pile drivers with similar properties are currently presented on the Russian market at a more affordable price.

Naturally, the factory testing is not the final point in the model development. In the future, the plant's experts will upgrade the vibratory pile driver design based on requirements of the operating companies.

It is to be noted that the model line of Impulse vibratory pile drivers develops continuously. The plant is planning to develop, test and produce the new models demanded on the Russian market.
